Wilson Pym May secures second Site Investigations Contract with Carmarthenshire
October 2012 : Wilson Pym May are delighted to have secured a second site investigations contract with Carmarthenshire County Council. We have provided this service for the Council since 2007. Over this time we believe that our investigations have helped make a positive contribution to reducing the Council’s risk from claims relating to “slippery roads”. We have also observed that the targeting of remedial measures and follow-up investigations made in relation to the recommendations from our reports has reduced the number of sites requiring full investigation year on year. This underlines the benefit of our excellent, long-term relationship with staff at the Authority and has resulted in a real reduction in annual survey costs. The new contract should see us continue to deliver site investigations until at least 2015.
